The target segment identified by SIFL for SME’s in India:
- No Bank/Institutional Funds (i.e. both Indian and Foreign) provide funds for Turnaround Finance.
- Foreign fundings are limited by min. size of funding.
- Indian banks are limited by the Risk Ratings.
Result: SME’s in the target segment have limited options to go for their requirements of funds.
SIFL is the sole Institutional Lender for these activities to the SMEs in India.
